On Friday (March 27), Detroit rapper and Yo Gotti protégé 42 Dugg dropped his album Young and Turnt 2, the follow up to the first installment of the mixtape series of the same name.

Being from D-Town makes one no stranger to hard times. It is a tough city, but it’s know for producing impactful black music.

Earlier this month, Dugg had to deal with some federal gun charges stemming from an incident at a gun range. However, he isn’t letting his legal troubles stand in the way of his mixtape release.

And by the looks of it, the whole city of Detroit is rocking with the up-and-coming rapper.
