Emergency Tsunami is Canadian rapper NAV’s and Atlanta producer Wheezy’s first time joining forces on a full-length project.

The two artists are friends and have worked together in the past, with Wheezy notably landing three production placement on NAV’s May 2020 album Good Intentions, including on the hit “Turks.”

Emergency Tsunami was first announced on social media by the pair in October 2020.

The release date for the project was revealed a month later along with a video teaser. The official tracklist was revealed the day before the project dropped.
