5 Seconds of Summer have released their fifth studio album, ‘5SOS5’.

To celebrate, 5SOS played a special live performance at London’s Royal Albert Hall last night (Thursday 21st September) on the eve of the album’s release. The event, entitled ‘The Feeling of Falling Upwards’, was also livestreamed globally. It saw the band play a set from their extensive back catalogue including tracks from their new record, accompanied by a choir and an orchestra.

Discussing the album, Calum says “5SOS5 has been the most rewarding experience. Birthed in the desert of Joshua Tree the core of the album derived from quieting the mind and allowing the soul of the band to speak. It’s a living, breathing thing made up of most beautifully light and dark parts of ourselves. 5SOS5 is the truest representation of 5 seconds of summer.”
