Many of us were surprised to find out that Kidd Kidd nabbed a spot on the newly-revealed XXL Freshmen cover, and, even more surprised to see that it was the fan-voted 10th spot.
Perhaps all the pushing from 50 Cent and G-Unit paid off. The New Orleans rapper is fresh off a freestyle-heavy mixtape,#RWN, but with the spotlight on the cover today he returns with some heat. The mixtape definitely fell under the radar, and it’s lack of strong original content didn’t really help. However, this cut finds Kidd Kidd in his zone, and a verse from fellow NOLA rapper Weezy F is the icing on the cake.Lil Wayne came through with a song of his own today too, check out “ Glory”
