ILOVEMAKONNEN - Sound Like Who

iLoveMakonnen returns with "Sound Like Who?".

iLoveMakonnen recently suggested he was quitting rap, but only a day later, he's already delivered some new music, meaning fans can breathe a collective sigh of relief. "Sound Like You?" is a declaration of Makonnen's singularity, criticizing the rappers he feels sound too similar. As he's been known to do lately, the raps here feel very spontaneous and freestyle-like, delivered with an urgent energy that Makonnen has recently mastered.

It joins recent releases like "Loaded Up," "Can't Let It Go," and "Black Mamba Freestyle" on his SoundCloud, and finds him working once again with Danny Wolf. No word on whether it's destined for a project, but Makonnen seems happy to be releasing loose tracks for the time being, and we're just happy he's still making music.
