Listen to a highlight off Tinashe’s new mixtape, “NIGHTRIDE.”

With little in the way of advance notice, Tinashe delivered a new mixtape at Midnight. NIGHTRIDE is a precursor to her long-awaited sophomore album,JOYRIDE, although in a letter to fans Tinashe revealed she’s been working on this project in tandem with JOYRIDE, for the past two years. It sounds like both album are equally important to her, although this one is being dubbed as a mixtape (commercially released).

NIGHTRIDE features recent leaks like “Company” as well as a much older leak, “Party Favors.” Among the unheard highlight, Tinashe delivers some sultry croons over mechanical-esque, watery r’n’b production on “Soul Glitch.” Take a listen.
