If there’s a singular track that’s been teased over the last few weeks that we’re most looking forward to, it has to be Post Malone and Swae Lee's “SunFlower.” The two forces will combine for a song that has all types of potential to be a banger. Swae Lee has proven he can write hits, contributing vocals to “Unforgettable,” and we all know about Post Malone’s incredible year. The two working together can spell all sorts of trouble for anybody in the top 5 of Billboard’s Hot 100. We had previously heard a 10-second portion of the song on Jimmy Fallon’s late night show but now, we’re getting to hear Swae Lee’s verse for the first time.
There’s still no release date for “SunFlower” but it’s bound to drop around the same time as the film accompanying it: Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse. The Rae Sremmurd member shared a lyric video that will go hand-in-hand with the song’s release, teasing an eventual drop with two words that feel all too familiar in the music industry: “Coming Soon.” The teaser clip was shared on Instagram to a bunch of excited fans.
Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse is set to premiere on December 13 so we can likely expect the song to arrive around then. If we’re lucky, we may get it a few weeks early. Are you looking forward to hearing their collaboration in its complete form? Enjoy it here on Waploaded Media.
