Theophilus London - Only You (feat. Tame Impala)

When Theophilus London & Tame Impala get together they form the supergroup Theo Impala.


The duo decided to cash in on the Halloween music dropping madness by releasing a single entitled "Only You." The song is a cover of Steve Monite’s 1984 disco hit of the same name.

The group premiered the cover on Virgil Abloh’s Beats 1 radio show “Televised Radio,” and now "Only You" is available to be streamed.

The disco-influenced cover updates the instrumental slightly. Theo Impala also graced fans with a music video for the track that capitalizes off the song's nostalgic vibe with old-school looking visuals.


The blurry shots are reminiscent of scenes from music videos of the 80's, and the presence of a corded house phone will probably confuse members of the younger generation.
