Against All Odds (Take a Look at Me Now) (also simply titled “Against All Odds“) is a power ballad recorded for the soundtrack to the 1984 film of the same name by English drummer, singer and songwriter Phil Collins.

In the song, the protagonist begs an ex-lover to “take a look at me now”, knowing that reconciliation is “against all odds” while considering it worth trying.

The single peaked at number two (2) in the United Kingdom, and reached number one (1) on the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States.

Against All Odds has been covered by several singers, of which some versions have been successful in both the US and UK; notably the pairing of Mariah Carey and boy band Westlife in September of 2000.
